God’s Word, God’s Servants, God’s Faithfulness

There’s so much to share from these past two months, from testing and training, to ordaining and vision casting.

Kamea New Testament App
The Kamea New Testament App has now been tested, and we’re preparing a new update ahead of the full launch on Google Play. We really look forward to it going live! It has been quite a task, and we are grateful for those who volunteered to help with the beta testing. We are one step closer to being able to use this means of getting God’s Word to the Kamea people so they can hear it as well as read it in their heart language.

BBIPOM Graduation
Baptist Bible Institute of Port Moresby held its 4th Commencement Exercises on May 30th.

Four students graduated: Cheryl Abary, Vali Kila, and Ishmael and Samantha Samish. Missionary Kenny Seremak from Mount Hagen was our guest speaker, and it was a real encouragement to have him with us. We are ever thankful for the pastors who have partnered with us in this training ministry. Please continue to pray for all of our graduates as they serve in ministry in many churches and locations.

Ordination of Pastor Erick Bala
On the last Sunday of May, Capital City Baptist Church in Port Moresby had a high day as we celebrated the ordination of Pastor Erick Bala. Pastor Erick has faithfully served this church for many years alongside our son Matt, and it was a joy to see him formally set apart for the ministry. We’re also thankful for the pastors who came together to sit on the ordination council.

Bahamas Missions Conference
Lena and I also had the privilege of taking part in a missions conference in the Bahamas in June with Pastor Cranston Knowles. We enjoyed several great days of meetings with the church, and we were able to meet with their missions committee to encourage them as they think about what it means to be a sending church. It is a beautiful place with beautiful people, and they, along with Pastor Cranston and his wife Susanna, were gracious hosts to us. But most of all, it is always exciting to be around those who are catching the vision about getting the Gospel to the nations!

New Sending Church
Victory Baptist Church in Milton, Florida, is our new sending church. For those who support us financially, please send all future support to:

     Victory Baptist Church Missions
4000 Avalon Blvd.
Milton, FL 32583

The checks should be made out to Victory Baptist Missions, with a memo for “John Allen PNG”.

Thank you, as always, for standing with us in prayer and support. We appreciate you so much!

Psalm 71:18

I had the privilege of baptizing my granddaughter Abi while we were in the USA in June.

The “Weekend Boys” translation team honored Mama Lena for Mother’s Day.

It was so good to have a part in the missions conference in the Bahamas.
We love Pastor Cranston and Susanna!

I’m proud of all three of my sons, Matt, Dave, and Nate. I’m particularly blessed to have been able to work with Matt for over 18 years here in PNG. God is so good to us!

We'd appreciate hearing from you!
